Markets Review

Markets.com is a safe, secure broker. They do not have anything fancy, and their premium (and standard) accounts seem to be a little steep for the extras that are included. Having said that, the classic account offers great deals and information for the minimum deposit of one hundred dollars. Their customer service is almost a guarantee to be phenomenal and they are backed by the European Union and the FSA.

Markets.com is a forex broker that seems to run in the middle of the pack. There are many brokers that seem to have a lot more features and add-ons that Markets.com seems to lack, but it is still a strong contender.

Due to their location, they are under the regulation of the FSA in the UK and Cysec in Cyprus, guaranteeing you their legitimacy and that your money is backed. They have tossed in a lot of security features that will leave you feeling safe.

Top Features of Markets

As mentioned above, there are some top features that are offered at Markets.com . The most important in today’s society is the integration of mobile platforms for trading. Most brokers have done so, and Markets has created an easy to use interface. There is an app on the iPhone and available for Android devices as well.

There is also a WAP trader, for those who enjoy their “non smartphones”. Many of the pre-iPhone phones supported WAP applications, and if yours does, than you still have access to the Markets.com broker from your mobile device. Not many brokers offer a WAP trader, but it certainly can draw a specific market who do not want to get an updated phone.

The mobile and other platforms have a strong security system with firewalls and SSL technology; encrypting all of your personal information so it is not stolen.

Another potential top feature is their Market Autotrader feature. It uses proven strategies to invest your money for you, an autopilot of sorts. It will emulate those decisions with your input to advance your chances of striking rich. Unfortunately, most experts would agree that the forex market can be somewhat unreliable, meaning that without your personal input you could be tossing money away by not being in constant contact with the feature.

Markets Prices

There are three different categories of trading accounts, a mini, standard and VIP account. The mini account (or classic) requires a minimum deposit of one hundred dollars. With the newly found portfolio, you are granted daily morning reviews of the market; these can help you with your daily decisions. There are also desktop and mobile trainings to ensure you know how to use their services and know your way around the platform.

Markets on Mac and iPhone

Along with the knowledge of the platforms, there are also webinars and seminars that come free to the classic category, giving you the inside scoop and tips on how to build your portfolio. If that was not enough, it also comes with twenty-four hour customer service, so no matter where you are in the world, the representatives of Markets. Com are available for you.

The next is the standard category. Within the standard account, you get access to all of the classic extras as well as a few extras. You get a premium daily analysis, which looks a little more in depth than the morning review, giving you more insight than the classics. There is also the text message news and signals you can also receive. Be the first to know and the first to trade if you have the mobile platform on your phone while you are receiving the instant SMS news and signals. In order to qualify for the standard account, you must deposit a minimum of two thousand-five hundred dollars. Quite a hefty jump from the one hundred dollar classic account.

The Premium account is the pinnacle of Markets.com accounts. It is a minimum of twenty thousand dollars deposited in order to be considered for the premium account. With the extra title you are granted premium customer service.

The Downsides of Using Markets

In order to qualify for anything above the classic account, it will require a hefty investment in order to do so. The jump from one hundred dollars to twenty five hundred dollars seems extreme. The added bonus of more insight and text alerts may be enough for some people to make the jump, but it will not be for most people.

The climb (seemingly up Mt. Everest) from the standard to the premium is incredible steep. Twenty thousand dollars is a fortune considering you are only upgrading your customer service. I can imagine that the premium customer service is unbelievable based off of their already outstanding customer service representatives.

Another shortcoming of theirs is the lack of an affiliation with PayPal. Most of their clientele are looking for a trusted middle man to work their money through. It is much safer to deposit the money into PayPal before putting their bank information onto the website, despite their incredible security. It is not a terrible downside, but for some, it could be the tipping point that pushes them away from Markets.com

From there, you have the option to opt as a novice or a professional. Depending on your level they will place you with someone who does not over complicate, or under complicate things for you.
